Operations
From the face onto the vessel
Five capabilities, running in sequence. Each one has a defined output, each output is evidenced by a document that travels with the cargo, and each stage is tested before the material moves to the next.
Extraction
Positions at producing concessions, worked in benches. We record which face a cargo came from and sample it there, which is what holds grade steady across repeat shipments. Concession identity is disclosed to a buyer under contract and to their inspector where the counterparty requires it.
Beneficiation
Washing, drying, screening and sizing to the contracted moisture and grade at the plant serving each concession, with the product re-tested at the mine gate before despatch. This is the stage that sets whether a cargo meets its specification, and it sits inside our control rather than downstream of it.
Processing
Conversion of phosphate rock into acid and granulated product, where applicable, through our downstream programme. That programme is the largest of our current investments and extends the flagship line from a raw material into the products our buyers use directly — fertilizer, feed and, increasingly, battery-grade phosphate.
Logistics
Inland haulage, port storage, stevedoring and vessel nomination, with material tested on receipt into port stock and again on the built stockpile before a vessel is nominated. Parcels of 45,000 to 55,000 MT on bulk carriers; bagged product in containers or breakbulk where the discharge infrastructure calls for it.
Documentation
Certificate of Analysis, certificate of origin, weight and draft survey and bill of lading, prepared as a set to letter-of-credit presentation standard. The certificate closes a chain of four measurements rather than reporting one. We treat this as an operational function, because a document set that presents cleanly is worth as much to a buyer as the price.
Where we operate
Origin and market.
Our supply position sits at the concession end of the chain. Our buyers sit in the markets where mineral demand is growing fastest and where import dependence runs highest.
- Supply
- Producing concessions across various jurisdictions globally.
- Markets
- South and Southeast Asia, Europe, Turkey, the Gulf and Latin America.
Where we are going
Building the chain.
The downstream programme is the centre of our current investment. Extending the phosphate line from rock into acid and granulated product puts Phosphex alongside its buyers in the part of the market where value concentrates.
The same logic governs the wider book. Each mineral line is built where the concession access, the logistics and the buyer relationships already exist, so that capability compounds rather than starts from nothing.

Term supply, tolling and blended agreements across all four lines — send the grade and the volume and we will structure around it.
